Sorry. The glossy purple button is based on image set as background. If you want to use different color, you can edit the css to use background color instead of image.

.animatedtabs a
.animatedtabs a span

Thanks.

Hi, I LOVE your theme!

I want to change all ogf the purple to yellow, is there a way to do that?

Thank you!

P.S. I tried changing the color #983793 to yellow and managed to change some colors on the page, but the tabs etc. remain purple. Are they buttons, or can I control them with css?

Thanks again!

My images are not showing up in the featured slider..just a white space. I used the custom field feat-img.

My images are in the purpress/images folder. I put the link to the images in the custom field box. On the little thumbnail under the Lastest Featured..it shows the original picture thumbnail but not my picture..

Hai. As I mentioned above, the navigation is not built for categories display because of the missing span tag echoing..try visit and read below discussion to find a solution:
http://wordpress.org/support/topic/237777

'Read More' text for post can found on functions.php, under Standard Post Excerpt heading, you'll find $more_link_text="Read More" below it.

Hai Jamie. Unfortunately, custom category template is not built into this template. But, you are free to make one by referring to below link:
