you’re using an older version 1.2, try download the latest v1.5.
its the timthumb issue which removed in later version 1.5

Image thumbnails are not showing on home page on blutune theme suddenly. how to fix it?
demo look fine to me on latest wp 4.4.2, so it must be error on your end.
